Sunflowers are a true delight with their radiant beauty; it’s no wonder I’m captivated by these cheerful blooms. Today’s wedding at The Temecula Creek Inn in California is the epitome of rustic charm – think burlap, lace, and whimsical touches like yarn table numbers and mason jars suspended from above amidst this idyllic setting. Lauren shines as a stunning bride, her entire ensemble sparkling from head to toe.
Her bejewelled wedges and chandelier earrings perfectly complemented her vintage-inspired bouquet adorned with roses, daisies, and delicate brooches. Meanwhile, Troy and his groomsmen maintained a down-to-earth elegance in their waistcoats, suspenders, and Converse shoes. Teale Photography was on hand to capture the sweet moments and charming DIY details that make this wedding truly special.
From The Bride…
Our wedding aesthetic was steeped in nostalgia, with a palette that blended soft pastels – think baby pink, creamy white, pale green, and sunshine yellow. I was particularly keen on spotlighting the sunflowers, which became the crowning glory of our decor. To bring my vision to life, I got creative and crafted or designed many of the decorative elements myself, relishing every moment of the process.
Of course, I wasn’t alone in this endeavor – my talented wedding planner, Krystal from Couture Events, was instrumental in bringing it all together as well.
Favourite Moments
As newlyweds, sharing a tender kiss is an experience that’s etched in memory forever. It’s a moment when two people, now united as one, seal their love with a gentle yet meaningful touch of lips. And what’s more romantic than exchanging those first kisses as husband and wife, surrounded by the love and support of friends and family?
For some couples, this milestone is followed by another significant step: walking down the aisle together, hand in hand, as they embark on a new chapter in their lives.
Advice For Other Couples
As Lauren so aptly put it, ‘go simple’ – a mantra that seems to be echoing through the minds of many newlyweds. And who can blame them? With the overwhelming amount of decisions to make and details to attend to, it’s no wonder that stress levels might run amok. But here’s the thing: simplicity is key. It’s not about stripping away the romance or intimacy of your special day; rather, it’s about focusing on what truly matters to you as a couple.
So go ahead, take Lauren’s advice to heart and keep things simple yet meaningful. After all, it’s just one day, and the memories will be all that’s left in the end. Congratulations once again to Troy and Lauren, may their married life be filled with joy, love, and adventure! Thanks to Teale Photography for sharing these stunning photos with us today – we can’t wait to see what their wedding film has in store (hint: it involves superhero socks with capes).
We’ll be back later this afternoon to share the film, so stay tuned.
