When planning her special day, today’s bride Abby opted for a wedding dress that truly reflected her personality Her stunning Mara Hoffman gown served as the anchor for the entire celebration, incorporating geometric patterns, soft coral hues, and an artsy vibe reminiscent of succulents This unique style choice set the tone for the rest of the day, which was filled with modern touches like craft homebrews, creative DIY elements, and casual catering from a cool covers band.
The ceremony took place at the historic Legare Waring House at Charles Towne Landing, surrounded by majestic oak trees that added an air of sophistication to the proceedings Despite the classic backdrop, the overall atmosphere was relaxed and chic, making for a truly unforgettable experience.

Inspired by my own dress, I wove a thread of geometry and soothing coral hues throughout the venue’s aesthetic, seamlessly integrating attire and décor to create a cohesive atmosphere My vision was to transport guests to an artistic, free-spirited world that embodied the essence of bohemian charm.

Paige’s reputation preceded her, highly recommended by my trusted wedding planner Her website showcased a stunning array of previously captured weddings, each one telling a unique story through its meticulously curated photographs.
I was particularly impressed by the attention to detail in showcasing Paige’s experience at my specific venue, as well as similar settings in the area, giving me confidence that she would effortlessly capture the enchanting atmosphere of the majestic oak trees and the essence of our special day.
The Honeymoon
As we count down the days until our Peruvian adventure in August, I can’t help but reflect on the whirlwind romance that has brought my partner and me to this point Lima, Cusco, Sacred Valley, and Machu Picchu are just a few of the exciting destinations on our itinerary, but I’m not sure what we’ll discover most about ourselves during these travels.
While we would have loved to indulge in some well-deserved relaxation after the wedding, our exhaustion was somewhat tempered by the thrill of exploring new horizons And what better way to kick off this chapter than with a trip that promises adventure, culture, and maybe even a touch of romance
Looking back on Abby’s special day is bittersweet – it was such a joyous celebration, full of laughter and love I’m still smiling when I think about the tender first look between Abby and her dad.
