When it comes to planning an engagement, every moment counts. For me, having 13 months to prepare and savor this special time was truly a gift.
The Music
As the wedding celebration unfolded, a beautiful musical selection played a significant role. The processional, set to the timeless Canon in D, provided an elegant and sophisticated backdrop for the bride’s grand entrance. The recessional that followed, featuring the iconic ‘Here Comes the Sun’ by The Beatles, marked the conclusion of the ceremony with a sense of joy and anticipation for what was to come.
Meanwhile, the first dance between the newlyweds got underway, with Lee Brice’s heartfelt ballad ‘I Don’t Dance’ serving as the perfect accompaniment to this intimate and romantic moment.
Favourite Moments
As the grand finale of our wedding celebration unfolded, Cole and I seized the opportunity for an intimate moment amidst the lush vineyards. I requested that the venue set up a cozy little nook, complete with two chairs, fine wine, and a selection of hors d’oeuvres from the cocktail hour. This serene interlude was crucial to me, allowing us to bask in the joy and gratitude of the day’s events.
It was truly a treasured experience, one that I would enthusiastically recommend to fellow brides-to-be.
The Honeymoon
Our honeymoon adventure took us to the breathtaking Intercontinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort in Vietnam, a place that left an indelible mark on my heart and one that I would wholeheartedly recommend. The two weeks we spent exploring Vietnam were nothing short of extraordinary, easily rivaling the best experiences of my life thus far.
A beautiful wedding deserves special mention, with its poignant first dance and intimate private cocktail hour – a truly romantic moment that will forever be etched in my memory.
