Flower-Filled English Wedding (With Laduree Stationery & Disney-Inspired Centrepieces)

As we wrap up our last real wedding feature of the year, we’re thrilled to share with you a truly chic and luxurious celebration. The stylish bride and her dashing groom tied the knot in London’s picturesque Chiswick House and Gardens, surrounded by breathtaking scenery and exquisite flowers that would make even Kim and Kanye jealous.Their special day was masterfully captured by French Grey Photography’s talented Brian Wright, who brought their love story to life in a beautiful and intimate way. And let’s just say, it’s no surprise the wedding was truly unforgettable given the bride’s mum is a renowned florist – Chloe and her mother, Paula Gibson Flowers, worked together to create a stunning floral display that added an extra layer of romance to the celebration. From the exquisite stationery inspired by Ladurée to the whimsical Beauty and The Beast-themed centrepieces and a show-stopping ruffled wedding cake, every detail was carefully curated to perfection. But what truly stands out about this wedding is the impeccable style – Greg’s dapper Hugo Boss tuxedo was the perfect match for Chloe’s jaw-dropping Monique Lhuillier wedding dress, which was truly off-the-charts gorgeous.

As you navigate the world of wedding planning, remember that the key to success lies not in perfection, but in embracing the imperfections and making the experience uniquely yours. Cultivate a sense of calmness by letting go of expectations and embracing the natural flow of events. Infuse your special day with fun by incorporating personal touches that reflect your relationship’s quirks and humor. By doing so, you’ll create an atmosphere that is truly authentic and memorable for both you and your partner.

The Estrillo Sting Quartet and DJ Matt Maurice brought the house down with their unique blend of classical and contemporary tunes, perfectly capturing the evening’s ambiance. To cater to our diverse crowd of young family and friends, we opted for a playlist dominated by modern hits, eager to get everyone on their feet and dancing the night away. A highlight of the evening was our first dance, a romantic rendition of Sam Smith’s ‘Latch’ in its acoustic form.

As we had international guests visiting from New York, Singapore, and across the UK, finding a central London venue was essential. Chiswick House and Gardens exceeded our expectations, offering an enchanting garden atmosphere while still being conveniently located within London’s borders.

The moment you step inside, you’re transported to a bygone era, surrounded by authentic history that exudes luxury and sophistication.

The gardens are a true gem, with hidden gems like waterfalls, rose gardens, and even swans. The sense of serenity is palpable, making it the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable event.

Chiswick House itself provides an impressive setting for your ceremony or service, while the marquee offers a blank canvas for creative expression and fun. For evening gatherings, the stunning light-filled conservatory is ideal.

One of the biggest advantages was having everything in one location, minimizing logistics and stress. The staff were equally impressive, offering expert guidance, warm smiles, and an unparalleled level of efficiency.

The most endearing aspects of our stunning rose flower wall were undoubtedly the subtle yet thoughtful touches that added a dash of whimsy to the overall aesthetic. We’re thinking specifically about the flamingos, delicate rose dome flower table decorations, and the Xylo bands – each one a masterclass in understated elegance.

During our trip to Maui in Hawaii, we had the pleasure of staying at The Westin and The Four Seasons, both exceptional hotels that exceeded our expectations. Our journey didn’t end there – we stopped over in LA on the way back to New York, where we enjoyed a luxurious stay at The Beverly Hills Hotel, which just might have been the highlight of our travels. The attention to detail was indeed stunning, much like Chloe’s mother’s exquisite floral arrangements that really made us swoon. We’re grateful to Brian Wright of French Grey Photography for capturing these special moments and to the lovely couple, Chloe and Greg, for sharing their enchanting wedding with us. As always, we hope you find inspiration in our real weddings feature.
