The Langham Huntington Hotel in Pasadena provided a stunning backdrop for Megan and Todd’s wedding celebration, where rustic charm merged seamlessly with classic elegance. The navy and neutral colour palette, accented by delicate moss details, white roses, blush pink dahlias, and chic stripes, left me smitten.
Megan’s timeless bridal style, meanwhile, stole the show – her layered lace Rivini wedding dress was perfectly complemented by glamorous earrings, a waist-cinching sash, and a dainty hair pin peeking out from beneath her cathedral-length veil. Orange Turtle Photography beautifully captured the romance and beauty of their special day, freezing moments that will be treasured for years to come.
From The Bride…
To evoke an atmosphere of enduring sophistication, we opted for a palette of neutral hues and an abundance of organic elements, allowing the venue’s inherent charm to take center stage. For my special day, I donned a strapless lace gown adorned with a cathedral-length veil trimmed in delicate lace; its simplicity was understated yet undeniably elegant.
Meanwhile, my bridesmaids wore flowing grey chiffon gowns that reached the floor, their satin sashes further embellished by fabric flowers, adding a touch of whimsy to our otherwise refined aesthetic.
The Refreshments
As we’re huge fans of comfort food, it was crucial to offer late-night snacks that would satisfy our cravings during the lively dancing sessions. The menu featured a delightful array of indulgent treats, such as lobster corn dogs, juicy sliders, and savory tomato shooters paired with gooey grilled cheese sticks.
But what truly made our hearts skip a beat were the sweet surprises – homemade marshmallows and bite-sized donut holes, lovingly named after our beloved bulldog Dunkin, whose namesake donut shop holds a special place in our hearts.

Advice For Other Couples
As a self-proclaimed planner, I’ve always relied on my trusty binders, Excel spreadsheets, and Pinterest boards to stay organized. But after planning my sister’s wedding, I learned that there’s no such thing as a ‘wrong’ decision when it comes to the big day. The truly special moments happen in those fleeting seconds when husband and wife exchange their vows – everything else is just the icing on the cake.
With so many options to choose from, it’s easy to get caught up in the details, but at the end of the day, it’s all about celebrating love and commitment. A huge congratulations to Megan and Todd! Special thanks to Orange Turtle Photography for sharing their beautiful photos with us. I’m especially loving the unique ceremony decor – who knew moss and stripes could look so stunning together? And can we just take a moment to appreciate how radiant Megan looked on her special day?
